Dr. Shrikaant Kulkarni has got 36 years of teaching and research experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. He has been teaching subjects like Engineering Chemistry, Green Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Catalysis, Chemical Engineering Materials, Industrial Organization & management to name a few over the years. He possesses Masters in Chemistry, Business Management, Economics, Political Science and M. Phil and Ph.D. in Chemistry other than Diploma in HR, Industrial Psychology, Higher education, Population education etc. He has got 100+ research papers in national and international journals and conferences in the areas like green chemistry, analytical chemistry, coordination chemistry, materials chemistry and technical education too.. He has authored ten book chapters in CRC, Springer and Elsevier published books. He has coauthored four books in Chemistry too. He has given expert talks on various topics in green and analytical chemistry at various national and international events. His areas of interest are Analytical & Green and sustainable Chemistry. He is reviewer and editorial board member of many journals in Green, Analytical Chemistry of international repute. He has been invited by UNESCO to give a talk on Green Chemistry Education for Sustainable Development at IUPAC international conference on Green Chemistry held at Bangkok (Thailand) in Sept. 2018 and his talk was well received by the international jury members. He is an esteemed team member as a Co-author in team one for sustainable development goals laid down by UN. He was appointed as an esteemed jury for the evaluation of business plans submitted by teams of students of 13-18 age group for Conrad challenge competition from across the world sponsored by NASA. He has been instrumental in formulating and coordinating United Nations sponsored RIO & COP programs dedicated to sustainable development at his institute. He is a resource person in Materials Science, Analytical, Polymer and Green and sustainable chemistry.
